Types of Therapy Provided

Heal from trauma through online therapy

I provide a safe and supportive space where individuals ages 18 and older can process difficult experiences virtually, to build skills for emotional well-being. Following an initial consultation, we work together to identify the therapy approach that best aligns with your personal goals and unique needs, ensuring a plan that supports your growth and healing.

Insurance and ways to pay

Sessions are about 55-60 minutes long.

Individual Sessions

Personalized online therapy that aims to help you navigate life’s challenges and build resilience.

One-on-one therapy.

Private sessions where you work directly with me, your therapist. Each session is tailored to specific needs and the aim is to provide a new set of tools that help you heal and thrive.

Common focus areas

  • Trauma recovery and emotional regulation to help with anxiety.

  • Depression

  • Each session is client-centered and paced according to your personal goals.

Length of therapy

Therapy length varies. Some clients come in for only a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. We start with an initial phase of 6–12 sessions.

Then we evaluate your progress together and decide whether to continue. The most important thing is that therapy moves at your pace. It should be based on your goals and needs.

Couples Therapy

In online couples therapy the focus is on your relationship and the challenges you face together.

Reconnect and grow together

Together we work on rebuilding trust, strengthening healthier ways to communicate, and creating lasting change. If desired, faith-based principles can be incorporated, providing guidance that aligns with Christian beliefs and values.

Common focus areas

  • Communication challenges

  • Conflict resolution

  • Rebuilding trust and connection

  • Processing the impact of trauma

Length of therapy

Every relationship is unique. Some couples see me for a short period (around 8 to 12 sessions) to work on communication skills or resolve a specific conflict.

Others may choose to continue therapy for longer. This is common when addressing deeper issues like long-standing patterns or trust. I recommend starting with a set of sessions (for example, 8–10). The goal is not just to resolve challenges, but to help you build lasting tools for your relationship.

 EMDR Therapy

An effective method in treating conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, stressful events and grief. It is offered both online and through in-person intensive sessions.

Specialized trauma therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an evidence-based treatment that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories and reduce their emotional intensity.

Healing emotional pain

Sometimes painful memories trigger overwhelming fear, sadness, or anxiety.

EMDR is a therapy that helps the brain reprocess memories so they lose their emotional intensity.

Length of therapy varies. Each person has a different timeline of how their memories are reprocessed. EMDR sessions are conducted virtually to ensure accessibility. In-person services are reserved for EMDR intensives.

How EMDR works

  • During sessions, we gently work through distressing memories using side-to-side stimulation, including eye movements, tapping, or auditory cues.

  • The brain’s natural healing system is activated, and the process allows the memory to be stored in a healthier way.

  • The memory remains, but it no longer has the same effect on your emotions.

  • You don’t have to share every detail of
    your experiences

Recommended by leading organizations

EMDR is recognized as an effective treatment for trauma by the World Health Organization (WHO).
It is also acknowledged by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) as an evidence-based approach for PTSD and trauma related conditions.

Tailored for busy schedules

An EMDR Intensive is a private session designed for deeper and more efficient trauma recovery. Intensives offer extended therapeutic time so your brain and nervous system can fully process painful experiences without interruption. Each session is held in a calm, controlled office environment to maximize safety, emotional regulation, and therapeutic support.

Intensive is ideal for individuals experiencing single-event trauma, medical or childbirth-related trauma, betrayal experiences, or specific fears and anxiety triggers.

Each session includes preparation and grounding, EMDR reprocessing, installation of positive beliefs. Every session also includes safe closure before you leave, to ensure a focused and supportive healing experience.

Why this session is in person:

  • Trauma processing is the most effective with real-time nervous system co-regulation.

  • Your therapist can monitor subtle body-based responses

  • The office setting provides greater containment and safety

  • You are fully supported if strong emotional responses arise

Format:

  • EMDR Intensives only (3-hour or 6-hour recovery sessions)
